2010 Hydro-Turf APBA Watercross National Tour to Kick Off in Only 30 Days

National Tour Returns to the Bluewater Casino in Parker, Arizona

EASTPOINTE, MI - The American Power Boat Association (APBA) is excited to announce the return of the U.S. National Tour for Watercross Racing. The 2010 HYDRO-TURF APBA Watercross National Tour, Presented by Yamaha with Supporting Tour sponsor Sea-Doo, features a six-event, eleven-round series that will determine the U.S. National Tour Champions in eleven Pro-Am and Expert racing classes including Women’s classes. The 2010 series will consist of five double rounds events spread throughout the United States, plus the HYDRO-TURF APBA Watercross Nationals in Nashville, Tennessee, which will counted as a double points round, as the final stop.

The 2010 HYDRO-TURF APBA Watercross National Tour will kick off the season with the first two rounds of competition at the beautiful Bluewater Resort & Casino in Parker, Arizona on May 1 and 2, 2010. This is the only National closed course race to take place on the West Coast in 2010. The Bluewater Resort and Casino, which is the host and the Title sponsor for the Parker event, will see some of the best closed course racers and teams from around the United States converge to begin the chase for the coveted 2010 APBA Watercross National Tour Championships. The challenging rough waters of the Colorado River can give even the most seasoned veteran a run for his or her money.

The action both on and off the water is going to be intense with all riders vying for victory and their share of prize money. In addition to event prize money, Supporting sponsor Sea-Doo has posted an impressive contingency program for the racers. The Bluewater event is great opportunity for the fans to get up close and personal with all the racers. It is going to be an event not to be missed, so make your plans today to be a part of the all the action at the Bluewater Resort & Casino. RPM Racing Enterprises is proud to conduct the Bluewater event. Each round will be filmed and a half hour show from each round will air of three different cable networks. The 2010 National Tour has some great stops at some of the racers favorite race sites. The Tour also makes stops in Myrtle Beach, SC; Harbor Beach, Michigan; Belle River, Canada and Colonial Beach, Virginia before making the final stop in Nashville, Tennessee for the season ending APBA Watercross Nationals. Next stop June 5-6 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Announcing the 2010 IJSBA Parade of Nations

The IJSBA is proud to announce the 4th Annual Parade of Nations - Once again Lake Havasu City in Arizona will be honoring all race participants for the 29th IJSBA Quakysense World Finals.

Everyone is invited to attend to honor and represent the flag from their respective country. The event will be held Thursday, October 7th 7:30 PM at the London Bridge Resort and Convention Center. This is free to everyone attending the IJSBA World Finals and there will be an open cash bar for refreshments if desired.

This year I would like to invite participants and friends to bring something special from their country and gift it to an individual from another nation. This item could be a sticker, t-shirt, hat or even a small nation flag.

Once again there will be our annual guest book, with pictures from last year’s event, that you are encouraged sign with your personal comments. No other event during the World Finals brings so much pageantry than the Parade of Nations.
